A teenager who allegedly attacked students with a rubber mallet has appeared in court.
The boy was arrested after an incident at Bennett Memorial Diocesan School on March 19 in which two pupils were injured.
He was charged with a string of offences which included grievous bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm and having an offensive weapon.
The case had been sent to Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court where the 16-year-old was remanded in a secure unit.
He appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday where he was told he will stand again for a plea and case managemnet hearing on June 17.
At the time the school's head teacher Ian Bauckham said it was an isolated incident which was dealt with immediately.
"Appropriate action was taken and the police were called. The incident did not impact on other students and was isolated and contained," he added.
