Railway trespasser at Stonegate disrupts Southeastern train services between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings

A trespasser on a railway line has caused disruption to trains this afternoon.
All lines are were blocked while response staff apprehended the person on the tracks in the Stonegate area between Battle and Tunbridge Wells earlier.
As a result of the unauthorised incursion, trains between London and Hastings were expected to be disrupted until around 5pm.
A Southeastern spokesman said: "An earlier trespasser on the line in the Stonegate area has been apprehended and trains will commence running again between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
"There may be some short notice alterations whilst we work to return the service to normal so please do check your journey and allow extra time to reach your destination."
Travellers may also be entitled to compensation if they experience a delay as a result of the trespass incident.
