Tunbridge Wells: Accident on the A21 between the junctions for the A26 at Tonbridge and the A228

An 11-year-old girl and nine-year-old boy are among the casualties after a crash which has closed a main road near Tunbridge Wells.
The accident, which involved two cars, happened on the A21 between the junctions for the A26 at Tonbridge and the A228 at around 2.10pm.
Both the north-bound and south-bound carriageways were shut while emergency services attended the scene.
The air ambulance also landed nearby to help with the casualties.
The two children were taken to King's College Hospital in London with abdominal injuries.
It is understood three other patients were taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with minor injuries, including a woman in her 50s and another in her 30s.
Motorists were advised to find an alternative route until 7pm, when the road was reopened.
