A road in Tunbridge Wells remains closed due to emergency gas works.
Broadwater Down was shut at the junction with Frant Road for the repairs on Friday, and they were completed earlier today.
But the route will not reopen until the road surface is relaid, which is expected to be completed by Thursday.
In the meantime there are two-way temporary traffic lights in place, which will also act as a pedestrian crossing.
Claire Buchanan, a spokesperson for gas distribution company SGN, said: "We would like to thank road users and the local community for their continued patience while we complete our essential work.
"We’re aware that this is a busy route for road users and will be working hard to remove the temporary traffic lights as quickly as possible."
