Residents in Tunbridge Wells are being warned about rogue traders after reports of cold callers in the area.
Two white males have been leafleting in the Culverden/Mount Ephraim area offering paving work.
KCC Trading Standards are warning consumers that use the services of door to door traders may be overcharged and find the work is not of good quality.
Such salespeople do not leave paperwork and don't give the buyer the right to cancel within fourteen days of agreeing a contract.
So if the customers changes their mind or is not happy with the service, they have no contact details to obtain a refund.
Residents are being advised to use a reputable company who has been recommended by family or friends or use a Kent Trading Standards approved trader via Checkatrade.
