Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells will host Round Table fireworks event next month
16:00, 24 October 2014
The Round Table is set to light up the nation’s skies as its members host the largest number of fireworks displays in the UK.
Upwards of 100 events will be staged all over the country by members of the organisation, raising funds for local causes and thrilling thousands of people - as has been the case for more than half a century.
Families are being invited to soak up the atmosphere, witness the light show and enjoy the event with funfairs, bonfires and live entertainment also on offer at most of the events.
This year’s event organised by Tunbridge Wells Round Table will take place on Saturday, November 1 at Dunorlan Park.
Cait Allen, chief executive of Round Table, said: “Our clubs have been organising fireworks for more than 50 years and the current crop of Tablers all across the UK are gearing up to provide safe family entertainment.
“These displays are a core element of each club’s activities and also help to raise much-needed funds for local charities, which are always well supported by the community.
“These are events not to be missed so pop down to your local event, wrap up and enjoy a great evening with the family!”
Gates open at 5pm and the display will begin at 7pm.
