A suspected drug dealer found in possession of cocaine has been arrested by officers in Tunbridge Wells.
At around 4.30pm on Monday, a police patrol in London Road saw a Ford Fiesta they suspected was being used in the supply of controlled drugs, and followed it to The Goodwins.
The driver briefly left the vehicle and entered an address, and on his return he was arrested.
He was taken to Tonbridge Police Station where officers found thirteen deals of cocaine during a search.
They also seized his mobile phone and later found another ten bags of cocaine at the house in The Goodwins.
Alesander Martinez of Marconi Road, Chelmsford, Essex was later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and driving without insurance.
Mr Martinez, aged 31, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on yesterday, where he was bailed to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.
A date for the hearing is yet to be confirmed.
