A 16-year-old boy from Tunbridge Wells has been arrested and charged with two burglaries

A 16-year-old boy from Tunbridge Wells has been arrested and charged with two robberies that occurred in the area after admitting the offences in court.
The first robbery happened in in Broadwater Lane on Friday, July 25 where the boy stole cash from a 91-year-old woman.
The second robbery occurred in Showfields Road, on Friday, August 1 where the teenager stole a handbag from a 60-year-old woman, Kent Police has revealed.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 2.
He is due to appear before the court again on Thursday.
