Two rescued in blaze drama

TWO men were led to safety by firefighters today after being trapped when fire broke out in a two-storey block of flats in Tunbridge Wells.
Both men were given oxygen at the scene after suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
The blaze broke out in a ground-floor hallway at flats in Greggs Wood Road on the Sherwood estate. There was considerable smoke and heat damage.
Fire crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels to deal with the incident.
The cause of the fire, which was reported at 10.30am, is being investigated.
