Rock band Virgil and the Accelerators will play at The Forum, Tunbridge Wells

A band renowned for their live performances will be performing at a popular venue in Tunbridge Wells as part of their Spring tour.
Virgil and the Accelerators, who are well known for pushing the boundaries of the blues rock genre and delivering incendiary live sets will be at The Forum after playing in Europe this May.
In 2013 the band managed to gain the services of legendary producer Chris Tsangarides who has worked with the likes of Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy, to name a few.The band's 2015 Spring tour will be making two stops in the county, playing at the Red Lion in Gravesend and then Tunbridge Wells in early May.
After exploding onto the music scene in 2009, the trio have worked relentlessly to make their way around the circuit, making a huge impression on audiences around the continent.
When asked who were the biggest influences on their work the band said: "We are influenced by the likes of SRV, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ-Top, early Joe Bonamassa & John Mayer's Trio, amongst others. That was really our starting ground."
Virgil and the Accelerators' third album, Army of Three, was released in September 2014. The gig will start at 8pm on Saturday, May 9 and they will be supported by Big Boy Bloater.
