A BBC South East Today spokesman tweeted: "Just to let you know our weather presenter Rachel is up on her feet and will be absolutely fine. Thank you for all your kind messages."
Among dozens to contact the programme, which is filmed in Tunbridge Wells, was Jonathan Queally, who tweeted: "Poor Rachel. My heart goes out to her. You all handled it very professionally under the circumstances. Hope she's ok."
John Smith posted: "Really hope you're OK Rachel, can't have anything happen to my favourite weather presenter! #bbcrachelgetwell"
Rachel Wilsdon added: "Hope that Rachel is going to be ok, hope to see her back on screen tomorrow."
