Woman hit by car in Robin Hood pub car park in Birken Road, Tunbridge Wells

A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a car in the car park of a Tunbridge Wells pub.

Emergency services were called to the parking area of the Robin Hood public house in Birken Road, just after 6.30pm on Thursday, to reports of a collision between a blue Chrylser Tacuma and a 56-year-old woman.

The woman was taken to Kings College Hospital in London where she remains in a serious condition.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene and are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

They are also trying to trace the occupants of a small white car which left the Robin Hood car park just prior to the incident.
