Woman dies after head-on crash on A21

A woman has died after a head-on crash on the A21.
The crash happened at about 3.45pm yesterday close to the junction with Church Road at Lamberhurst.
The woman, who was in her 50s, was travelling southbound towards Hastings in her silver Vauxhall Corsa when it was involved with a collision a white Range Rover Evoque travelling in the opposite direction.
Witnesses reported the air ambulance being called to the scene.
She died in hospital shortly after the crash. Her next of kin have been informed.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
