17:10, 20 September 2017
A woman has been treated for smoke inhalation, and tiles were removed from a roof, after a blaze broke out at a bungalow in Edenbridge.
Three fire engines went to Chestnut Close at about 3.40pm to reports of flames coming from a mid-terrace bungalow.
A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was given oxygen by firefighters after suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.
Crews needed to wear breathing apparatus to tackle the flames using hoses and a fan.
They also removed roof tiles to expose the loft space to check for fire spread.
The blaze was brought under control at around 5.30pm.
