Great Britain win gold in the senior men’s balance competition at the 2023 European Acrobatic Championships with representatives from the Tiger Acrobatic Gymnastics in Tunbridge Wells

Four gymnasts from Tiger Acrobatic Gymnastics in Tunbridge Wells have clinched a European title.
Representing Great Britain, the gymnasts were crowned European champions in the senior men’s balance competition at the 2023 European Acrobatic Championships in Varna, Bulgaria.
Making up the winning group was Hector Kinghorn, 19, William Clark, 18, Harley Curtis-Lawrence, 16 and 20-year-old Harry Hole, taking top spot on the podium after scoring 29.970 in their winning routine.
The boys also took to the podium twice more over the weekend, with a silver in the senior men’s group combined competition and a bronze in the dynamic competition.
A group comment from the boys, said: “It’s a great feeling to be the European Champions and come out of the balance finals with a gold medal.
“We have worked really hard in the gym and it is always amazing to see our hard work pay off.
“Getting gold has been a goal of ours since we first began gymnastics.
“The best part of the championships for us was when we were on the floor doing our routines - its the best feeling!
“We also really enjoy interacting with the other nations throughout the competition.”
