Field blaze in High Woods Lane, Tunbridge Wells, tackled by Kent fire crews for six hours

A farmer helped firefighters tackle a blaze for six hours after 30 tonnes of straw went up in flames.
Two crews raced to a field in High Woods Lane, Tunbridge Wells, yesterday (Saturday) after the fire broke out at 11.30am.
A farmer at the scene created a fire break to stop the flames spreading.
Crews left the scene at 5.50pm.
No one was injured. It has not been reported what caused the fire.
