Just five points separate the top four teams in the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Premier Division after leaders Blackheath suffered a three-wicket loss at home to Tunbridge Wells on Saturday, writes Josh Fordham

Blackheath posted 209 with Tanweer Sikander making 103 as Alexander Williams took 3-34 and Chris Fenwick 3-41.

Michael Waller (41), Robert Sehmi (45) and Christopher Williams (34) led the reply.

The win sees Tunbridge Wells fourth, just five points behind Blackheath.

Hartley Country Club are hot on the heels of Blackheath after their emphatic eight-wicket win at Sevenoaks Vine narrowed the gap to one point.

Daniel Redwood took 5-45 for Hartley as Sevenoaks were dismissed for 131.

Anthony Shales (51 not out) was one of only three batsmen to get into double figures for the home side.

It took just 15.5 overs for Hartley to chase down the runs with Charlie Hemphrey finishing 58 not out while James Hockley scored 48.

Beckenham are just two points further back in third place thanks to their 181-run win at home to Folkestone.

Beckenham posted 304-8 off their 55 overs with Alex Blake getting 100 off 91 balls supported by Will MacVicar (55) and Raza Ali Dar (68).

Hugh Bernard was the pick of the Folkestone bowlers taking 5-74.

Folkestone were all-out for 123 in reply with the wickets shared between Junaid Nadir (3-67), MacVicar (3-35) and Jonathan Darke (2-6).

At the other end of the table, Lordswood got a winning draw at Sandwich Town.

Matt Greenwood scored 90 as Lordswood posted 225 with Kent paceman Matthew Hunn taking 5-29.

In reply, Sandwich fell five runs short of the winning target with Lordswood needing just one more wicket.

Darren Scott took 4-42 for the bowling side while Rory Smith finished 59 not out.

Bexley beat Bromley by six wickets after restricting the visitors to 130 with Min Patel taking 3-13.

Sam Heazlett scored 41 as Bexley chased down the runs to leave them fifth.
