A21 blocked between A262 and B2160 near Lamberhurst following two-car crash

A main road was blocked following a two-car crash.
Two-mile tailbacks were reported following the collision, which happened on the A21 near Lamberhurst.
The route between the A262 and the B2160 was blocked due to the crash and debris on the road.
A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 3.52pm on Thursday 15 August to a two-vehicle collision on the A21, near Lamberhurst.
“Officers attended the scene, where one person reported minor injuries. The road remained closed pending vehicle recovery, but was re-open by 5.45pm.”
