Cranbrook man dies and Hawkhurst woman injured in motorbike accident on A259 Hastings Road, Winchelsea

A Cranbrook man who died in a motorbike crash has been formally identified.
Shawn Field collided with another biker and two cars on the A259 Hastings Road, Winchelsea on Sunday.
The 41-year-old, of Campion Crescent, was taken to Royal Sussex county Hospital in Brighton where he sadly succumbed to his serious injuries that night.
Mr Field was riding a Suzuki motorbike and was travelling west when he collided with a Toyota Yaris car which was waiting to turn right, a Honda motorbike which was also travelling west and a C1 Citroen car at 11.45am.
The other motorcyclist, a 35-year-old woman from Hawkhurst, suffered a broken pelvis and ankle and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris, a 47-year-old woman from Winchelsea, suffered whiplash and shock along with her passenger, a seven-year-old girl. They were also both taken to the Conquest Hospital.
The driver of a Citroen C1, a 65-year-old Rye man, was not injured.
