Witnesses sought after a child was allegedly threatened with a knife in Sissinghurst Road, Sissinghurst

Two people have been arrested after a 12-year-old boy was reportedly threatened with a knife and pushed against a car.
Police were called following the alleged incident in Sissinghurst Road, near its junction with Common Road, in Sissinghurst.
It is thought the victim was approached by two people and then pushed against a car at around 5pm on Saturday, April 20.
The suspects are then said to have demanded money and threatened the child with a knife before leaving empty-handed.
A 20-year-old man was arrested that same evening and was bailed pending further inquiries until July 18. A teenage boy was also arrested and bailed.
Residents living nearby are being urged by police officers to check doorbell cameras and CCTV for any important footage and drivers who were in the area are also asked to review dashcams.
