It is more than 50 years since Brian Wilson and Al Jardine first performed together as part of The Beach Boys.
Now the two will be sending Good Vibrations through crowds at the Hop Farm Music Festival when the band’s co-founders come together to celebrate their golden year.
Headliner Brian Wilson will be taking to the main stage on Saturday, July 5, where he will be joined by the rhythm guitarist to play a set of classic songs.
The pair started out performing in Wilson’s bedroom, before going on to become one of the most successful bands of all time, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide.
The festival promises a three-day line-up packed with favourites and new acts, including Kinks frontman Ray Davies, James Blunt, Deacon Blue and Curtis Stigers. There will also be comedy from the likes of Jo Brand, Rich Hall and Russell Brand and street style carnival fun from The Flying Seagull Project.
The festival will be held at the Hop Farm Family Park, near Paddock Wood, from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6.
Adult day tickets from £68. Call 0845 0756101 for more details.
