Rail passengers have been faced with long queues for tickets after a break-in at a station.
Commuters travelling from Paddock Wood had no access to the booking hall or ticket office early this morning as police carried out an investigation into the incident.
Instead, they have been forced to queue for a ticket machine outside the main entrance, with the platforms accessed via a side gate.
Pictures show a long line of commuters waiting outside the station to get their tickets.
Southeastern said extra staff would be on hand to assist passengers.
A spokesman tweeted: "If you are travelling from Paddock Wood this morning please be aware you can only use the side entrance on platform 1, there is no access to the ticket machine or ticket office/coffee shop due to a break in. Sorry for any inconvenience."
The police have since finished their investigation and the ticket office is open again.
However, the entrance and exit at Platform 1 into the booking hall remains closed, with passengers still using the side entrance.
