Broken down vehicles block A229 in Hawkhurst and Staceys Street, Maidstone

Two broken down vehicles have blocked roads in the Maidstone and Weald areas this morning.
The A229 Cranbrook Road, Hawkhurst, was partially blocked by a broken down lorry near the junction with Vale Road at 10.30am.
Kent County Council advised drivers to approach with caution.
All lanes were reopened by 12.30pm.
Just after 9am, a car broke down in Staceys Street, Maidstone, blocking the road.
Police officers directed traffic around the vehicle until it was recovered.
