Lenham Road, Headcorn, remains shut after serious crash in early hours

Emergency services remain at the scene of a serious crash that took place on a country road in Kent last night.
The collision happened on Lenham Road, Headcorn, just before 1am.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, and police have confirmed one person was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash.
The road remains closed, and a Serious Collision Investigation Unit remain at the scene.
Police have been approached for more information.
