Investigation after body found in crashed car off the A229 in Knoxbridge

An investigation has been launched after a man's body was found inside a crashed vehicle.
The man was discovered in a silver BMW which had veered down an embankment off the A229 at Rocks Hill, in Knoxbridge.
The body has been identified as a 46-year-old man from the local area.
Police attended the scene at 12.15pm yesterday (Friday) and closed the road for five-and-a-half hours while investigation work was carried out.
The ditch where the car was found is about 30-metres south of the junction with Grandshore Lane.
It is not known what time the crash happened.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) attended and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
"If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information that may help they are asked to contact the SCIU witness appeal line on 01622 798538."
