Firefighters were called to a shed fire in Paddock Wood yesterday afternoon.

Three fire engines were sent to the scene in Maidstone Road, where a large single storey shed was reported alight at 4.30pm.

Crews used hose reel jets and water from a local hydrant to fight the blaze, which was extinguished by 5.13pm.

No casualties were reported, and the cause is not yet known.
