Horsemonden: Firefighters extinguish lit bonfire next to Maidstone Road

Firefighters were called on to put out a large bonfire that had been set next to a road in Horsemonden.
The blaze began in the large pile of garden waste and hedge trimmings adjacent to Maidstone Road just after 6pm last night.
The fire was extinguished by 7pm and crews spent around 30 minutes damping down.
