04:45, 07 August 2017
Firefighters battled a blaze which took hold of a hundred bales of hay near Marden last night.
Emergency services were called to land off Goudhurst Lane shortly before 5.30pm.
Initially, four engines were called to the scene and crews used four main jets, a ground monitor and a fog spike to bring the fire under control.
Two fire engines remained at the scene through the night as the straw was broken up and allowed to burn.
They left the scene this morning (Monday) and are due to return this afternoon.
The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage.
