Elderly woman fighting for life after being hit by car in Brenchley Road, Horsmonden

An elderly woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a car in Horsmonden.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were all called to Brenchley Road at around 9am on Tuesday, April 30 after a pedestrian was knocked down by a silver Toyota near the junction with Furnace Lane.
The injuries to the woman are described as life-threatening and she was taken to a London hospital for treatment, where she currently remains.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We received a call just before 9am to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
"We sent ambulance crews to the scene and were joined by the air ambulance.
"The pedestrian was treated for injuries including a head injury before being airlifted to King's College Hospital."
