Horse rescued from River Beult in Headcorn

Firefighters had neigh trouble rescuing a horse today.
Crews were called out to the River Beult in Water Lane, Headcorn, after the animal got stuck.
A fire engine was sent to the scene along with an animal rescue unit and and a water safety safety.
Straps were placed around the trapped animal and it was lifted on to dry land.
A KFRS spokesman said: "The horse did not appear to have any injuries and was handed into the care of its owner."
Crews left the scene shortly after 12.15pm.
