Police close A229 Highgate Hill, in Hawkhurst, after a driver fell unwell at the wheel near the junction for High Street and Rye Road.

A village road has been closed after a man became unwell at the wheel of a vehicle.
The A229 Highgate Hill, in Hawkhurst, was shut at the junction of High Street and Rye Road at around 9.40am today.
It's understood a driver suffered a medical episode but did not crash.
Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance are at the scene.
