Motorists heading through Marden faced disruption after a lorry crashed into a railway bridge.
Police were called after the vehicle blocked Pattenden Lane at around 5.30pm yesterday.
No injuries were reported.
It is thought the lorry's main cabin was moved from the scene before its trailer.
Officers left the scene at 9.13pm.
Network Rail was informed of the incident.
