Kent Fire and Rescue Service treat man in his 40s after bonfire in field off Cranbrook Road got out of control

A man in his 40s suffered minor burns to his arms after he lost control of a bonfire this morning.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to a field off Cranbrook Road, near Cranbrook, at 10.34am.
Firefighters treated the man for his injuries but he insisted that an ambulance should not be called.
Crews left the scene at 11.02pm.
