Paddock Wood man charged with string of offences

Police have charged a 22-year-old man with a string off assaults, thefts and driving offences.
Joseph Smith, of no fixed address, was arrested in Fuggles Close on Thursday, and taken into custody.
There he was charged with a range of offences, all of which are alleged to have happened between January and May this year.
He has been charged with using threatening or abusive behaviour, two counts of assault, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified, theft, handling stolen goods and travelling on a railway without paying a fare.
The offences allegedly happened in areas including Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Lenham.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates Court today.
