Headcorn Aerodrome: Man injured after microlight 'crashes'

The air ambulance landed at Headcorn Aerodrome after a man was injured in a microlight accident.
Emergency services descended on the private airfield off Shenley Road at 3.45pm on Friday (November 11) after the aircraft came down hard, landed awkwardly and flipped over.
The air ambulance briefly landed on site to join paramedics and a man, believed to be in his 50s, was taken by road to William Harvey Hospital at Ashford with back injuries and a broken arm.
No one else is reported to have been injured.
