Residents were shocked as a motorbike and a car crashed into each other.

The accident happened on Station Road, Headcorn at around 2.30pm.

Several police cars and an ambulance attended the scene.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening."

South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for a comment.
