Trains through Paddock Wood were delayed today, after a horse wandered on the line.
Services had to be suspended just after midday, but the animal has since been rounded up and returned to its field.
Trains were running normally again by 1pm and the horse was not injured.
Southeastern said passengers would be able to claim compensation for the delay.
