Police are investigating a report of an attempt to take a woman's pet dog in Lenham Road, Headcorn

Police are investigating an attempted dognapping incident which happened yesterday afternoon in Headcorn.
It happened at around 1.45pm in Lenham Road, when the woman was walking her dog on a lead.
A man is said to have approached her and made repeated attempts to take the dog from her.
After the owner resisted, he eventually got into a vehicle and drove away.
The vehicle was reported to have had its number plates covered and was described as being a white Mitsubishi.
The man is described as having an Irish accent and was around 5ft 8ins tall, of heavy build. He had reddish/blond hair which was shaved at the bottom and was aged in his late 20s.
