A man held over the death of Biddenden pensioner Roy Blackman has been released, police say.
The 49-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on Wednesday. He has been released on bail until Thursday, April 28 pending further enquiries into the death of the pensioner.
The 73-year-old mechanic was bludgeoned to death in his home during a violent burglary on Monday.
Officers have also now left the scene of the derelict Valedene Industrial Park, six miles from Mr Blackman's home in another part of Headcorn Road, where they have been carrying out a search since Thursday morning.
Around 10 police vehicles blocked the entrance and officers were seen taking and bagging items from the site.
A police presence at the crime scene in Biddenden will remain throughout the weekend.
A picture of a heavy duty cabinet resembling one taken from Mr Blackman's home has also been released by detectives.
The cabinet is mustard in colour, 5ft tall and metal. It is yet to be found.
Officers continue to appeal for information and are asking anyone who may have seen anything from 7.30pm on Sunday to Monday morning between Weeks Lane and Frittenden Road to contact them on 01303 289600.
