Alexandra Morgan murder inquiry: police search in Kent over disappearance of Sissinghurst mum

Police are searching a location in Kent in connection with a missing mum.

Sissinghurst mother-of-two Alexandra Morgan disappeared a little over a week ago, with two people having been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Mrs Morgan was last seen at a petrol station near Cranbrook at 7.20am on Sunday, November 14, and has not been in contact with her family since.

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is investigating, saying that the disappearance was "completely out of character" and is now being treated as suspicious and a potential murder.

In connection with the investigation, officers are searching in Sevenoaks Weald.

Yesterday, a 53-year-old man from Hastings was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody, where he remains while inquiries continue.

His arrest follows on from thatt of a 40-year-old man from St Leonards-on-Sea, who was arrested the day before on suspicion of murder. He also remains in custody.

Investigators are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have information which can assist with their inquiries and have released a photo of her white Mini Cooper, which has a black roof and the registration number MF55 YHM.
