Marden winery Herbert Hall is victim of theft after 360 bottles stolen

15:40, 07 December 2017

More than 300 bottles of wine have been stolen from a business in Marden.

Police have received reports that the Herbert Hall winery was raided between 6.30pm on Tuesday and 9am yesterday.

The 360 bottles came from the Plain Road winery's 2015 Brut collection, and each bottle is signed with the date the sparkling wine was disgorged - a process where dead yeast cells are removed to make the wine clear.
