RAF Veteran Rodney Scrase returns to the skies in a De Havilland Devon alongside a Spitfire TD314 at Headcorn Aerodrome

A veteran flight lieutenant enjoyed a return to the skies on Saturday.
Rodney Scrase DFC is a decorated RAF veteran, who began his service in an old airship shed in May 1941.
He learnt to fly at a British Flying Training School in America, and went on to fly Spitfires with No 72 and No 1 Squadrons.
He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1944.
When he was released from service he had taken part in invasions of North Africa, Sicily, and Italy, as well as being an instructor of air to air gunnery in Egypt.
He finished the war-flying escort missions with No 1 Squadron from Manston Airfield.
The 92-year-old was taken up by Flt Lt Anthony Parkinson MBE at the Headcorn Aerodrome in a De Havilland Devon, and the pair enjoyed flying alongside a Spitfire TD314.
