Woman in her 80s dies following emergency services incident near The Hawkenbury Inn, Staplehurst

A woman has been found dead after emergency services were called to a village street this morning.
Police and paramedics were spotted near The Hawkenbury Inn, near Staplehurst, at around 10am.
Officers attended following concerns for a woman's welfare at a nearby property in the Hawkenbury Road area.
It has since been confirmed she has died.
A spokesman for the force said: "Kent Police officers attended a residential address in Hawkenbury.
"Upon arrival the woman, who was in her 80s, was found to have suffered a medical episode and was declared deceased at the scene shortly afterwards.
"The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
Officers say her next of kin have been made aware.
