10cc to perform greatest hits at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford

Art-rock icons 10cc are celebrating their greatest hits with a huge world tour.
The tour, which was originally planned to take place in 2020 to mark 45 years since the release of hit single I’m Not in Love, has been extended to this autumn and will stop off at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford.
The band formed in the 1970s and achieved a number of Top 10 singles, including Rubber Bullets, Dreadlock Holiday, Donna, Art for Art’s Sake, Good Morning Judge and, of course, I’m Not in Love.
Today, the live band is made up of 10cc co-founder Graham Gouldman, long-time members Rick Fenn and Paul Burgess, Keith Hayman and Iain Hornal.
“After the past two years, it is wonderful to be playing to packed houses and reengaging with our audiences again,” says singer Graham. “We are especially looking forward to the autumn dates and covering more of the country.”
The five-piece were planned to perform at Kent festival Chickenstock earlier this summer but pulled out due to "unforeseen circumstances leading to contractual issues".
This new tour, with extended dates continuing until the end of October, follows the release of the Things We Do For Love: The Ultimate Hits and Beyond.
The compilation album, released in May, includes classic numbers, live tracks, unreleased songs and hits written by 10cc members for other artists such as The Yardbirds and The Hollies.
The band, who have been performing for 50 years, have toured the globe in recent years, visiting countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
They have also played some of the biggest shows of their career right here in the UK, with a performance at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time concert and a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall last year.
10cc will be at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, on Tuesday, October 18. Book online here or call 03433 100033.
