1980s festival Rewind announces its Kent debut at Dreamland, Margate, next summer

Organisers of a popular 1980s festival have revealed that the event will be coming to Kent for the first time.
Rewind, which has seen artists such as the Human League and Adam Ant headline in previous years, will make its debut at Dreamland in Margate in June.
The festival will still take place at its regular location in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, in August, but Rewind Scotland and Rewind North, hosted in Cheshire, will not return in 2025.
Two new dates in Dublin and Cork have also been confirmed for next year.
Tickets are not on sale yet but will be available here. The line-up has also not been announced at this stage.
The Kent date will be a one-day festival with musicians expected to perform on the venue’s outdoor Scenic Stage.
Rewind has been running since 2009, when it was named 80s Rewind Festival, and is one of the country’s biggest festivals celebrating the decade.
Artists including Kim Wilde, Boy George, Billy Ocean, Aswad, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, Bonnie Tyler, Lulu, Bananarama and Tony Hadley have all performed at the festival in the past.
