2023 could be your chance as Heart of Kent Hospice has unveiled some exhilarating fundraising opportunities to get involved with, including a sponsored Skydive and Wing Walk.

You can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience whilst raising vital funds for the charity, which, since its inception in 1991, has supported over 60,000 individuals by providing care and support for terminally ill people, their carers and families living in the local community.

Heart of Kent Hospice Skydive

Taking place from Saturday 1 April 2023 to Tuesday 31 October 2023 at Headcorn Aerodrome, Heart of Kent Hospice’s Skydive is an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget. Do you have the courage to jump out of a plane at 12,000 feet while harnessed to a professional instructor, falling at over 120mph?

If so, take on this incredible challenge on a day of your choice and raise funds for the Hospice. The registration fee is £50 and the minimum sponsorship is £600. To find out more and sign up, click here.

Heart of Kent Hospice Wing Walk

Another equally thrilling fundraising opportunity for 2023 is the annual Wing Walk, taking place on Saturday 17 June 2023.Heart of Kent Hospice will be taking over Headcorn Aerodrome, with courageous fundraisers heading to the clouds to enjoy fantastic views of the Kent countryside on top of the wings of a Boeing Stearman biplane.

The flight will be an amazing experience, with dips and dives added for the more adventurous and plenty of time to wave to your adoring friends and family cheering you on from the ground.

The registration fee for the 2023 Wing Walk is £50 and the minimum sponsorship is £700. Find out more, including terms, and book your spot here.

For both the Skydive and the Wing Walk fundraising opportunities, you will receive a welcome email, fundraising tips and advice, regular updates from your 1-1 contact from the fundraising team, a bespoke ‘I took to the skies’ t-shirt and unlimited support before, during and after your experience.
