Broadstairs Food Festival will be over three days with food stalls and children's activities

There's a first class feast on offer this week by the coast.
The Broadstairs Food Festival returns from Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 3, with tastings and more than 100 hand-picked exhibitors of produce, hot food and homeware on offer.
It will be held over the three days on Victoria Gardens and promenade overlooking the beach at Viking Bay.
There will also be live music to accompany the browsing and buying in the bandstand area and entry to the festival is free.
The Theatre Marquee sessions will offer cheese and wine pairings, fish filleting and Ramsgate green hop beer. Places to the sessions are limited so booking is essential.
There will be activity sessions for children on the Sunday, including Baby Sensory and Festival Family Disco. Children’s activities are free, but prebooking is advised.
The event is not-for-profit but fundraising is crucial to keeping entry free. Gates open 10am daily.
Full details of session times, booking and to support the event go to broadstairsfoodfestival.org.uk and crowdfunder.co.uk.
