Hedgerow gins, gourmet burgers and learning how to combat stress through nutritious food are just some of the highlights of a food festival at Leeds Castle this weekend.
The three-day feast returns for the third year running, bringing 50 stallholders offering an enticing selection of food and drink.
Settle on a straw bale and discover new techniques and buff up your cooking knowledge.
Celebrity chef Reza Mahammad will delight the crowd with his Indian fusion recipes, while the Food Teacher, Katharine Tate, will show how to create food to tackle stress from the inside out.
Sample some gourmet burgers from Rad Burger Co or tuck into some sweet and savoury crepes from Hits the Spot.
Anna’s Cookery School will be serving up the perfect risotto and fresh tagliatelle and the Kent Cookery School, Food at One and Hush Heath Wine Estates will complete the schedule in the demonstration theatre.
Wild Spirits of Kent will be bringing gins and vodkas made from handpicked fruits and flowers, and from further afield Snowdonia Cheese will be offering speciality cheeses.

Relax with a Mojito’s Mavericks cocktail (there are non-alcoholic versions for the kids) or choose an artisan beer, cider from the Kent Cider Company, or a glass of Pimm’s.
Besides the food, there will be plenty of fun activities on offer for children such as garden games, a dedicated storyteller and face-painting, as well as the adventure playgrounds, maze and grotto, while parents can listen to live music courtesy of Silk Street Jazz.
