World famous animation studio Aardman will be giving children the chance to create some of their favourite characters in clay this weekend.
The Wallace and Gromit studio has teamed up with Dreamland in Margate for the workshops and weekend of fun for the start of the half term holidays.
The studio is hosting a series of workshops on Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16 where ticket holders can craft one of their favourite Aardman characters and watch some of their favourite films.
Led by one of the studio’s expert model makers, there'll also be an opportunity to ask questions about the tricks of the trade from an Aardman professional.
To top it off, there will be screenings of some of the studio’s best-loved films including Wallace and Gromit’s adventures - A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, A Matter of Loaf and Death - and Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas.
There are three sessions on Saturday, February 15, which are almost sold out, at 12.30pm when you can make Gromit, 2.30pm when you can make a Morph and 4.30pm, when you can make Shaun the Sheep.
On the second day, Sunday February 16, the workshops are at the same times, with the first to make Shaun the Sheep, the second to make Morph and the last to make Gromit.
Workshop tickets cost £12 (or £10 for Dreamland members) and include access to the screenings.
Spaces are limited to 60 people per workshop so booking in advance is recommended.
