Staff and students at Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre are preparing to host a series of open day events.
For students and parents alike, choosing the right secondary school is an exciting but important decision to make and open day events certainly provide an ideal window into schools to help everyone with this process.
The Open Mornings at Homewood will take place on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27 between 9am and 11am.
The Open Evening will take place on Wednesday, September 18 between 4pm and 8pm.
“We are looking forward to welcoming many prospective students and parents to the school,” said Philippa Dodd, who is the Facilities and Services Administrator at Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre.
“Open day events give the opportunity to look around the school, take in and assess the atmosphere, as well as meet the staff and students.”

It has been another very busy year for Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre, with many new and exciting developments.
One such development is the completion of a brand new 3G pitch, which serves as a great all-weather facility to both the school and local community.
It has also been a year of many successes.
Students and staff were recently celebrating excellent GCSE, A Level and Level 3 Applied results, confirming once again an established trend of strong and improving performances throughout the school.
Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre also picked up a Kent Schools Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing, which is a testament to the school’s caring ethos and strong pastoral provision.
